You Can Help Contribute To The Community By Volunteering In Our Gallery
We are looking for volunteers for a number of different positions including Gallery Shop sales, helping at fundraisers , special events.
Some examples of volunteer opportunities include:
- Visual Arts Gallery
- Fund Raising
- Building Maintenance
- Gift Shop
- Receptions and Openings
- Office Support
Helping out in our Gallery & Gift Shop
Responsibilities include greeting visitors, recording attendance, and making sales using a simple point-of-sale. Training is provided.
Gallery area responsibilities include handling cash as well as credit.
Helping out at Fundraisers, Special Events & Festivals
Duties may include greeting guests, checking people in, answering questions, and proving general support to help keep things running smoothly.
Qualifications:
Applicants must enjoy interacting with the public, be friendly and welcoming, comfortable working independently, and willing to learn.
If volunteering for the Gift Shop/Gallery area must be comfortable handling cash, as well as credit card and debit machine transactions.
