Scarf workshop $330 +material cost

Through traditional wet felting and the contemporary techniques of nuno and shibori felting,

workshop participants will express themselves through colour, texture, design, and idea while creating

one-of-a-kind hand-felted scarf. This two-day workshop is an excellent introduction into the world

of felt and other fibres. Gittan will teach you how to embellish your

work through nuno felting and shibori felting. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a

firm grasp on the various felting techniques taught and will have created one-of-a-kind, head-turning art you wear.

This course will require some devotion and a good sense of humor! You´ll be exhausted but very happy!

 

Handbags $270 +material cost

Through traditional wet felting and the contemporary techniques of sculptural and shibori felting,

workshop participants will express themselves through colour, texture, design, and idea while creating

one-of-a-kind hand-felted handbags. This two-day workshop is an excellent introduction into the world

of three-dimensional felt-making using the resist method. Gittan will teach you how to embellish your

work through traditional wet felting and sculptural felting. By the end of the workshop, each participant will have a firm grasp on the various felting techniques taught and will have created one-of-a-kind, head-turning art you carry.

 

Bowl/Lanterns $150 +material cost

In this two-evening workshop, Gittan will lead an exploration of sculptural wool with refined forms and delicate textures.

Students will test using layered materials for detail and added strength on delicate forms. One to two Lanterns/Bowls

will be completed in this workshop, depending on the individual student.

Gittan will provide a list with materials needed along with a tool list with things for the felting process.
