application to exhibit their work, in our Fine Arts Gallery,
during the 2025 calendar year.
Solo, duo, trio, and group shows are welcome.
Each artist MUST complete their own form.

The Grove Art Gallery Application Guidelines
• Only original works will be considered, to correspond to the unifying theme.
• ALL artwork MUST be ready to hang/display (wires etc.).
• Artist(s) must be able to attend opening reception.
• Shipping of work to and from the gallery is the artist’s responsibility.
• The Community Art Council jury committee reserves the rights to final selection.
Bio – 200 words maximum
• Paragraph form, usually written in third person.
• Where you live and work, personal details relevant to your art practice.
• Where your artwork can be seen and purchased.
Artist’s Statement – 200 words maximum
• Tell us about your submitted piece, what your work is, and how it is made.
• The statement should make the reader want to find out more about the work for the show but
shouldn’t describe the work in detail.
• The medium – is there anything unusual or specific about the way you use it?
• Details of inspiration (what, who, where & why)
• Focus or message of your piece and how you hope/anticipate the viewer will respond.
