Spark childlike wonder, bravery and joy through playful creativity.
After 18 years in the stunning Okanagan valley, Courtney studied and lived in both Saskatchewan and Alberta. In 2020 she was blessed to return to B.C., with her husband and two daughters, and join the Port Alberni community. Creativity invites her to let go of perfectionism, make a mess and play like she did as a child. Using acrylic, watercolour and chalk pastel, she draws inspiration from the outdoors and explores landscape scenery with originals, fine art prints and stationary! In 2022-2023 she begins her career path towards expressive art therapy by receiving her professional counselling diploma and plans to develop and expand her art business with simple, approachable, online painting courses.
She is a member of the Community Arts Council of the Alberni Valley with her work exhibited in The Grove Art Gallery in the summer of 2022 and Jan.-March of 2023. Her work is featured in The Sea & Cedar Arts and Literature magazine (2023 winter edition).
