The Community Arts Council is holding a fundraiser, Jan. 12, 2019.

Featuring, MURRAY HATFIELD & TERESA. They don’t just do magic, they are magic! Combining breath-taking magic, interactive comedy and some of the newest, most exciting and most up-to-date stage illusions. An evening of exceptional entertainment that is completely unique and world-class. Family FRIENDLY.

This year we are partnering with McLean’s Mill to bring a bigger event which will include crafters and artisans not only in the main building but include the outer buildings.

29 tables will be available in total, 12 in the main building and 17 on site in the outer buildings. There will be space heaters, but you will still need to dress warm.

· Outer Buildings – 17 Tables

There will also be:

· bonfires

· S’mores

· Christmas Light-up

· Christmas Trains

· Warm & Cozy food and snacks from the Steam Pot Café

· Hot chocolate Bar

Registration is $80.00 for the three days with first artisans to pay in full will be first to choose their table.

The Rollin Art Centre is excited to offer two great fall workshops, with Victoria Artist - Joanne Thomas. Joanne is an accomplished watercolour artist, who has taught many workshops all over the island. You can check out here work at,



1 Day  Beginner Watercolour ( FULL)

We are taking a wait list.

This beginner workshop will be a quick & playful introduction to watercolour materials and techniques. Starting with which end of the brush to use and moving quickly on to washes, textures and layering. We will use landscapes and still life subjects and work on a small scale.

Friday October 19th (9-4 pm)

2 Day Advanced Watercolour

In Joanne’s advanced workshop the first thing she will want to know is, "Who are you and what do you want to learn?" This discussion will define the subjects used for the lessons topics which are: brush techniques, drawing for painting, composition, colour, contrast, glazing, under glazing, creating the illusion of transparency, creating the illusion of volume, negative and positive painting and how to combine all these elements to create successful paintings.

The workshop will consist of demonstrations and class exercises as well ample time to work independently on an individual project or two.

Benefit Concert : August 30th, 2018 @ 6:30 PM


The newest volunteers at Rollins are the Rollin Buds. They are children learning gardening skills and songs whilst transforming the Rollin’s Children’s garden.

The Rollin Buds along with Bronwynn Nestegaard-Paul and Sherry Williams will present a special public show at the Rollin Art Centre’s Gardens

Thursday Aug. 30 @ 630 pm.

Admission by donations which will be used to purchase fall bulbs for the gardens!
